Whether it's nature and landscapes, abstract, or candid photography, painting with light as a form of storytelling is what inspires my art. I feel photography is a medium that offers me a powerful opportunity to stay in the moment, and it brings me joy to be able to witness the world through a creative lens and tell stories about moments in time that evoke emotion.

My enthusiasm for photography started at the young age of 6 when I got my first camera. Around the same age is also when my love of the wilderness sprouted. I grew up in both Seattle and Alaska, so naturally, I felt at home in the wilderness. I am strongly influenced by the Taoist and Buddhist principles of balance, nature, and serenity. Mother nature's artistic voice seems to ignite my own artistic voice. My work is about finding new perspectives in the environments that surround us, and I aim to share my photographs with others so that they may also enjoy the essence of that moment.
